Yield: 2 glasses
2 cups spinach
1 ½ cups freshly squeezed orange juice
1 piece pitted date (pre-soaked)
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup almond milk
½ cup ice cubes
1. Blend spinach, milk and water until smooth.
2. Add in the rest of the ingredients and continue blending until thoroughly mixed.
3. Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.
Add ½ tablespoon of orange zest (grated orange rind) for an added zing to your smoothie.
